At Delivery: DPP Creation and Timestamping

Since mid-October, Darty’s delivery teams can now automatically create or timestamp DPPs directly upon delivery, thanks to the integration of Arianee APIs into the software used during field operations.

When a product has no DPP yet, the system creates one. If it already exists, the delivery agent simply timestamps it — ensuring that each delivery is recorded as an authenticated event in the product’s lifecycle.

And because this new feature is natively integrated within the existing delivery interface, teams don’t need to change their workflow or switch tools.

The first results already confirm the acceleration with more than 1200 passports created since the launch.

    Key benefits:

    • Ensures every product delivered by Darty comes with its Digital Product Passport

    • No extra step for delivery teams — everything happens in their usual environment
→ The only additions are scanning (and applying, when needed) the product’s QR code and taking a photo of the rating plate. Everything else remains embedded in the interface they already use daily.

    • Massive scalability potential

After successful deployment in Rennes, Tours, Nantes, and Orléans, a nationwide rollout is planned for December, once the Black Friday period concludes.

At the Repair Stage: DPP Management Integrated into After-Sales Operations

From November 5, six Darty service centers will activate the same capability within the software used by repair technicians, allowing them to create or timestamp DPPs during service operations.

This functionality will expand to all Darty service centers soon, marking another step toward full lifecycle traceability.

By integrating directly into the existing after-sales interface, technicians can link repair events to the correct DPP in just one click — with no additional training or external tool required.

    Key benefits:

    • Automated recording of repair events

    • Increased data reliability across the entire service chain

    • Foundation for end-to-end lifecycle traceability — from sale to repair

    Why It Matters

With these two internal integrations — one for delivery operations and one for repair services — Darty moves closer to achieving end-to-end automation of its Digital Product Passport processes.

Together, they connect the physical journey of a product with its digital identity, ensuring that every key moment (delivery, repair, reconditioning) is captured and verifiable.

This approach sets a new standard for circular and data-driven retail operations, combining compliance, operational simplicity, and industrial scalability.
