A dedicated product page has been designed for the Digital Product Passports, offering instant access to essential product information with a simple scan of the QR code including:
- Product Information: Technical specifications, user manuals, and key data, highlighting essential information.
- Product history tracking: Full visibility into past repairs and maintenance, and reconditioning to build trust and support resale value.

What is a Product Page?
Enable customers to easily visualize the digital product passport before collecting it, with a fully customizable interface.
From a physical identifier (QR code, NFC chip) on the product or a link distributed upon online purchase, users are directed to a dynamic web interface.
This Digital Product Passport is created to deliver core product data across its lifecycle, supporting traceability, transparency and circularity. Beko, ecosystem and Fnac Darty, have co-developed an initial structure that reflects both the current business needs and the evolving regulatory landscape.
So what’s in it?
- Core product data: Brand, model, technical specifications and key identifiers
- Lifecycle history: Events like initial sale, repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment
- Sustainability insights: Material, recyclability, and environmental impact
Even though the DPP regulation is still unclear in regards to the data that will be mandatory to include, this first iteration, shows that industry players can collaborate and define the must-haves that will enable circularity, based on real-world operational needs while allowing for flexibility in evolutions once regulation is clear.
